I've got a head cold, yuck! It started Saturday with a runny nose, but when I woke up on Sunday morning, I was completely congested. I took some medicine and we went to my parents house for lunch. Since I wasn't feeling horrible, for the Superbowl, D.J. and I went to a friends house with CC and Matt. It was fun and after the game, we came home and went to bed. The girls spent the night at my parents house.
Monday morning, I woke up feeling worse. It was all in my chest and I could barely breathe. My wonderful mom offered to keep the girls for the day so that I could take some more medicine and rest. I stayed in bed all day and tried to get better. Monday night, my mom said she was keeping the girls because she didn't want them to get sick. My mom is the best (and Dad too!). So I curled up on the couch, watched 24, and then went to bed.
Tuesday, I woke up feeling even worse. My head was completely clogged and I could not breathe whatsoever. I talked to my mom and she said she was not bringing the girls home because she didn't want them to get sick, so I spent another day in bed. She said I could get them on Wednesday after Kierstin's soccer game if I was feeling better.
Wednesday, I woke up feeling a little better. I could breathe again, but still had some pressure in my chest. I went to pick up Kierstin for her soccer game. She had so much fun and did fantastic. My mom and CC went with me and Audrey stayed with my dad. After the soccer game, we went back to my parents house for lunch and then the girls and I came home. I am still feeling a little under the weather, but hopefully I am back on the road to recovery.
Thanks to my mom and dad I was able to get plenty of rest and hopefully the girls (and D.J.) won't get this nasty cold. My parents are the best....thank you, I really appreciate all of your help. I know the girls had so much fun with you guys and Kierstin is already counting down the days till she gets to see you both again.
We hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!
