Busy Weekend!

Friday night, Cortney and Matt came over for dinner and we played Guitar Hero. Kierstin played with Uncle Matt and Aunt CC and had a blast, as usual. Aunt CC took care of Audrey all night and didn't want to put her down. Some of our other friends, Heather and Scotty came over too and played Guitar Hero.

Saturday, Kierstin woke us up at 7:30am while Audrey slept until 8:30am. Kierstin had breakfast and then her and I went Christmas shopping. D.J. and Audrey stayed home and played. Kierstin and I went to pick up Cortney and then we went to Matt's work to have my wedding ring cleaned...now it's all shiney and sparkly. Then we went to Best Buy to get some Christmas gifts. Then it was off to the mall....they were packed. We had lunch and then did some shopping. Kierstin got to see Grandma Judi who came up to buy Kierstin and Audrey some clothes for Christmas. After we got done shopping, Kierstin got to play at the play area, which she always gets to do if she is a good girl and she is always a good girl! After the mall, we dropped Cortney off at home because she had to get ready for work and Kierstin and I went to Kohl's to get a few more gifts. Then we headed home. When we got home, D.J. and Audrey were playing.

A little while after Kierstin and I got home from shopping, D.J., the girls, and I got ready and we went to Red Robin for dinner. After Red Robin, we went to Rotery Park in Wentzville and drove through the park and looked at their Christmas Lights Display. It was pretty neat and Kierstin loved them and she "oohheedd and aahheed" over them. They also had a display with the 12 Days of Christmas, so we got to sing the song as well! When we got home, we watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, my favorite Christmas movie. It came on the other night and Kierstin has been wanting to watch it, so we watched it together. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original one), D.J.'s favorite Christmas movie, was also on the other night and we got to watch it and Kierstin has been watching it over and over...she loves it when the Grinch's heart gets bigger. After we watched Rudolph, the girls went to bed. Now, I am doing homework (well supposed to be doing homework) and D.J. is watching tv.

Busy weekend, as usual. How was everyone's weekend?
