My Dad turned 50 in March and my Mom turns 50 at the end of May and they celebrate their 20th Wedding Anniversary in July. The party was a great success and a total surprise to both of them. Friends and family came to celebrate with us and I know my parents enjoyed seeing everyone! I hope you both had a great time! Here are some pictures from the party:

Easter Weekend!

Friday morning, we hosted a play date for some of Kierstin and Audrey's friends. Chase, Nathan, baby Aiden, and baby Kyle came over to play. We also did an Easter egg hunt and the kids had lunch and played very well together. Everyone had a blast. Here are some pictures from the play date:

Saturday afternoon, we went over to my parents house and we colored easter eggs. Kierstin was very excited and had a blast. D.J., Kierstin, my parents, CC, Matt, Grandma Mary, and I decorated easter eggs and Audrey sat in her bumbo seat on the table and watched all of us. Here are some pictures:

Sunday morning, we went to church and after services, the kids were invited to an Easter egg hunt outside. Kierstin got her basket and hunted for eggs. Then we went to my parents house for a yummy ham lunch and Kierstin got to hunt for more eggs. She got lots of money, candy, and new toys and books in her Easter baskets. Audrey also got lots of fun stuff in her Easter baskets. After nap time, we went to D.J.'s parents house for dinner and the girls got more Easter stuff. Here are some pictures:

Audrey Has A Tooth!

Audrey's 2 bottom teeth have been trying to poke through for weeks now and last night I noticed that one of them was really close, but not through all the way yet. However, this morning, I checked again and it poked through. So Audrey officially has 1 tooth now....we are so proud of her! Kierstin wanted to feel it and after she did, she looked at Audrey and said "I am so proud of you Audrey, you have a toofer!" D.J. calls "teeth" toofers when it comes to the girls teeth! It was really cute! YAY for Audrey!

Cute Pictures!

Here are some cute pictures I took of the girls last week!

Easter Bunny!

Friday, the girls and I met my mom at Chesterfield mall to shop for Easter dresses and while we were there, the girls saw the Easter bunny. Kierstin went right up to him and sat on his lap, which surprised the photographer because she said she was having trouble with some of the kids that day. Audrey loved the Easter bunny, she just looked at him in amazement and was giving some belly laughs. It was really cute! I took a few pictures and then we had a professional picture taken.

After the mall, we stopped by the Wentzville Parks Department to get our ticket for the egg hunt the next day. Kierstin played on the park for a little while before we headed home for dinner, baths, and bedtime.

Saturday morning, the girls woke us up and we all got ready to leave for the Wentzville Easter Egg Hunt. When we got to the park, it was madness, with hundreds of cars and even more people. We made our way to the park and it was chaos. They had the age groups divided and each group hunting for eggs at different times. Kierstin was very excited and was able to get a lot of eggs. She also got to see the Easter bunny and Audrey enjoyed the ride in her stroller. Even though there was a lot of people and it was chaos, Kierstin had a blast!

Fun Day with Daddy!

Thursday, D.J. took off work to be spend time with me and the girls. D.J. and I took Kierstin to Chuck E Cheese and Audrey stayed with my mom. We wanted to spend some one-on-one time with Kierstin, so my mom offered to watch Audrey for us. We surprised Kierstin and she was very excited when we pulled into the parking lot. We got there early to avoid the crowd and we played lots of games and then we had lunch. When we got to Chuck E Cheese, there was only one or two other families there, but by the time we left, it was packed, so we got there right on time. We had so much fun!

After lunch, we picked Audrey up and then we came home and all of us played outside. Kierstin played with her new t-ball set while Audrey sat in her swing and enjoyed the fresh air in her face. Kierstin also rode her bike and played soccer. Later in the afternoon, I left to meet my mom, CC, and Matt to go and look at a couple houses. CC and Matt are buying a new house and they found a couple they liked and wanted to show them to me and my mom. They decided to put an offer on one last night and are waiting to hear back from the sellers. They are very excited and we hope they get the house they want. After looking at the houses, I came home and D.J. had already put the girls to bed, so we watched Grey's Anatomy before heading to bed.

It was a great day with some nice weather for D.J. to be home with us.

Busy! Busy! Busy!

Thursday night, we went to my parents house for dinner. Then, us kids (and mom) surprised my dad with a trip to Harrah's. His birthday is tomorrow and my mom thought it would be fun if we took him to the casino to gamble for a little while. My mom stayed home with the kids and they spent the night (she didn't want to go and she wanted me to go) and me, D.J., Matt, CC, and my dad went to Harrah's. It was fun and everyone had a great time.

Friday, I went to Walmart and Schnucks and then came home to clean house. D.J. came home and helped me finish cleaning and then we sat down and watched Grey's Anatomy from the night before.

Saturday, I woke up early and started getting things ready for the party. I hosted a small surprise 50th birthday party for my dad at our house. Some of our immediate family came to help celebrate his 50th birthday and everyone had a great time. After the party, D.J. and I went to our friends, Scott and Libby's house to hang out. We hadn't seen them in awhile and they invited us over to catch up and see Moe (their 3 month old son). It was a great night and we had a blast being with them.

Sunday, we went to church and then to my parents house for lunch (ham, D.J.'s favorite). Some more of my family was there, so we got to catch up and then we played Dominos and I won (again!). We came home at dinner time and I did homework while D.J. took care of the kiddos.

It was a very busy weekend and today the girls and I are relaxing at home. We hope everyone had a great weekend!

Happy "7 Months" Audrey!

Today, Audrey is 7 months old. Time flies by so fast sometimes. Audrey is doing so many new things like saying dadadadada, hhhiiiii, CC, and babbling all of the time. She is sitting up by herself for a minute or two, she is almost there. She is eating all new things and she is such as good baby. We can't believe she is 7 months old already! We love you, Audrey!

Park Time & St. Patty's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This morning, the girls had breakfast and then we planned to run to Kohl's and the bank and then I was going to surprise Kierstin by going to the park. I packed everything up and made us lunch to have later at the park. We left and went to Kohl's only to find out that they didn't have what I needed. I needed 5 picture frames that were all the same. So we left and went to the Kohl's on Highway K, but they only had 3 frames. They looked in the computer and saw that the Kohl's on Jungerman had 7 of them, so we headed there. The girls were very good getting in and out of the truck and going in and out of the store.

When we made the last Kohl's trip, I told Kierstin that I had a surprise for her and she was very excited. When I pulled into the parking lot at the park, she was so happy. Kierstin played for a little bit and then we all had lunch together. Kierstin was very excited to have a picnic lunch at the park. She played some more while Audrey and I watched from the bench and then my cousin Christina and her daughter Caitlin stopped by. I had invited them the day before, but they weren't sure if they would be able to make it or not, so we were very happy to see them. Christina and I chatted (and Audrey too) while Kierstin and Caitlin played together. The girls played superhero, and pirates, and on all the playground equipment. We were at the park for 4 hours, so when it was time to leave, everyone was exhausted. It was a great day with awesome weather.

We came home and I immediately put Kierstin in the bath tub because she was filthy from being at the park for 4 hours. CC came over after work and played with the girls while I got dinner started. My dad came over to hang my new picture frames and had dinner with us (my mom is in Doniphan until later tonight). The girls went to bed early because they were exhausted!

Here are a few pictures:

Monday

After breakfast, the girls and I went outside for a little bit to play. Audrey sat in her swing and watched Kierstin and I blow bubbles. Audrey loved watching the bubbles blow by...she laughed and cheered for the bubbles. Kierstin rode her bike and had fun. We came inside for lunch and then the girls took a nap. After nap time, we went back outside for more fun. Later, we came inside and I got dinner ready. After dinner, D.J. took Kierstin back outside and I gave Audrey her bottle and put her to bed. D.J. and Kierstin were playing outside and Kierstin was making pretty pictures with sidewalk chalk with the little girl next door, Gracie (5 years old). Gracie's brothers, Mikey (3 years old) and Mason (2 years old), also came over to play. All of them play so nice together and they always have so much fun. Next month, Kierstin is going to Mason's birthday party, so she is very excited. Now, Kierstin is heading to bed and then D.J. and I are going to watch 24.

Audrey sat in her booster seat at the kitchen table tonight and she loved it. She usually sits in her bumbo seat on the table, but I thought she was ready for her booster seat. Instead of bringing up the high chair, we are going to use the booster chair for a little while. She also drank from a sippy cup for the first time and did a great job (it had water in it). She was able to sit in her booster seat and pick up the cup and drink from it. Here are a couple pictures:

Kierstin wanted me to take her picture too. She also pointed out several times that she is a good girl and always eats her meals. I must say, she does a very good job eating her food. She is not picky at all and will almost always try something even if she has never had it. She has particular foods that she loves, likes, and doesn't care for, but she will try almost anything and she loves fruit! For her afternoon snack, she ate a whole apple outside while she played. Tonight, she pointed out to me that she was going to clean her plate so that she could have a popsicle. She ate all of her pot roast, broccoli and carrots, applesauce, and some of her mashed potatoes. Good job, Kierstin!
