Today is Father's Day and I want to wish D.J., my Dad, and D.J.'s Dad a very Happy Father's Day! Thank you for all that you do for our family and being a special person in our lives. Happy Father's Day!

Kierstin's Kindergarten Awards Ceremony

Monday June 6, 2011 was Kierstin's last day of Kindergarten. I cannot believe a whole year has gone since the first day of Kindergarten and since she first stepped onto the school bus. Kierstin has learned so many new things and has accomplished more than you could know. She has made D.J. & I very proud and I know she is going to go on to do even bigger things.

Her school didn't do a traditional graduation ceremony, but they did an awards ceremony on the last day of school. Kierstin received all the awards including awards for reading, writing, math, and counting. She is so smart...no wonder she is being tested for the gifted program. Keep up the great work, Kierstin!

P.S. Kierstin wanted to wear the same dress she wore on her first day of school. It still fit perfectly, it was just a little shorter since she has gotten taller.

Shelley's Baby Shower

Last weekend was my sister in law, Shelley's, Baby Shower. I helped host it and it was a blast planning and getting all the details together. There were over 30 people at the shower, so it was a great turn-out. She is having a boy, Finnegan, and is due in August. The nursery theme is Woodland Animals and Trees, so we planned the shower around the nursery. All the details came together beautiful and Finn got a lot of nice things. Here are some pictures:
