Camping Trip

This past weekend, D.J. and I went on our annual camping trip. We usually go on Memorial Day weekend, but the group we go with decided to go the weekend before to avoid some of the craziness. It was a great weekend! It rained on Friday night, but our tent held up with no leaks and Saturday was a little chilly, but the fire was nice and we had sweatshirts. It was a nice weekend getaway with some friends and we can't wait for the next trip.

The girls stayed with my parents and they had a blast, as always. They got to go to Aunt CC's new house and Kierstin played on the swingset.

Happy Mother's Day!

We hosted Mother's Day at our house today and it was great. My parents, Grandma, CC, and Matt came over as well as D.J.'s parents, his sister and her family, and his other sister. It was a wonderful day with everyone!

Kierstin made me a beautiful Mother's Day card and now it is hanging on the refrigerator.

My Parent's Surprise Birthday & Anniversary Party!

Saturday, we hosted a surprise 50th Birthday and 20th Wedding Anniversary Party for my parents. My Dad turned 50 in March and my Mom turns 50 at the end of May and they celebrate their 20th Wedding Anniversary in July. The party was a great success and a total surprise to both of them. Friends and family came to celebrate with us and I know my parents enjoyed seeing everyone! I hope you both had a great time! Here are some pictures from the party:
